Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 18, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures regarding the collection and use of your information when you use the service. We use your data to provide and improve the service. By using the service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Instagram Data You Upload

When you upload your Instagram data file (ZIP or JSON), we store and process follower and following lists for the purpose of generating reports and providing the service. This information is publicly visible on Instagram and is only accessed through files you provide directly. We do not collect this data directly from Instagram, nor do we request or store your Instagram login credentials.

2.2 Account Data

If you create an account, we collect and store your email address, a unique authentication identifier issued by our authentication provider, and timestamps related to account creation and last sign-in. We use this data to authenticate you, secure your account, and associate your snapshots with you.

2.3 Snapshots

A snapshot is the follower and following username list derived from an Instagram export you upload. Snapshots are tied to your account so you can view them across sessions and compare changes over time. Each snapshot contains third-party Instagram usernames and the timestamps at which Instagram recorded the follow relationships. Snapshots are retained until you delete them or delete your account.

2.4 Third-Party Usernames

Snapshots necessarily include usernames of people who follow or are followed by the Instagram account being analyzed. We process these usernames under the legal basis of legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) for the purpose of providing you with insights about your own Instagram audience. If a third party wishes their username to be removed from our systems, they may contact us at [email protected] and we will remove the relevant records.

2.5 Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience, keep you signed in, track usage patterns, and analyze traffic. You can learn more about our cookie use in our [Cookie Policy].

3. Use of Information

We use the information you provide for the following purposes: • To generate a list of users who do not follow you back on Instagram • To offer insights about your Instagram connections based on the uploaded data • To authenticate you and operate your account • To send transactional messages (sign-in confirmations, security alerts, service notifications) • To send marketing communications about product updates, where permitted and subject to your consent • To debug and improve the performance and reliability of the service • To personalize the user experience where applicable

Analytics events may be associated with your account identifier to help us understand how authenticated users use the service.

See our [Cookie Policy] for detailed information on how we use cookies and how you can manage your preferences.

5. Disclosure of Information

We do not sell, rent, or share the Instagram data you provide with third parties. The data is used strictly to provide and improve the services available on this website. We rely on the following processors to operate the service:

Google Firebase (Google Ireland Limited) — authentication and database hosting for account data and snapshots. • Email delivery provider — sending transactional and marketing emails on our behalf.

These processors act on our instructions and under appropriate data-processing agreements.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect the data you provide. However, since the data is sourced from public Instagram information, and transmission over the internet is never completely secure, we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

7. Data Retention

Snapshots are retained until you delete them. If you delete your account, all associated account data and snapshots are purged from our systems within 30 days. Uploaded raw data may additionally be stored for up to 30 days for debugging and analytics purposes and is deleted automatically thereafter. You can request early deletion at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

8. Your Rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction that grants equivalent rights, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you • Request deletion of your account and associated data • Export your data in a portable format • Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time • Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the service constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

10. Questions and Contact

For questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, contact us at [email protected].
